No comments or questions yet. Will you be the one who will break the ice?

15:43:36 From Michael Kirkhart : From what I remember from my own DSP work as well as from my graduate DSP course, the reasons for using IIR filters are: lower latency for a given attenuation, but the bigger reason is you can use analog filter design tools to create IIR filters.
15:46:47 From mnapier : Can you share a matlab script showing a design example of that last IIR filter?
15:49:12 From Radu Pralea : The second edition of Sklar had a CD with companion software in SystemView (Elanix). What kind of companion software (demonstrations) does the 3rd ed come with, since I guess SystemView is kind of outdated?
15:59:35 From Radu Pralea : please share both, of course, and if you could also point to the corresponding papers you mentioned, it would be great! :)
16:00:53 From Michael Kirkhart : Sorry - unknown technical difficulties
16:01:03 From Ibrahim Khalife : So good to see you Professor!!
16:01:04 From cblo : thank you
16:01:08 From Jessica Kedziora : thank you!
